Here is the sunporch where I brought all those plants in last fall. I still have them in pots downstairs and will use these again for crossing. Will work even better since I can bring them inside to pollinate them as well. That is if they flower, some didn't seem to flower so well when I wintered them over inside.

Here is the almost finished porch, they have a few things to do when it dries out. The curve in the top where the new boards are was all rotted out, they had to replace it all. That flooring is a new hard plastic floor that will never rot, the old wood floor needed attention all the time.

I am thrilled to death how nice it turned out. Hopefully it will last another 125 years.

I have always really liked the big wrap around porches like you have. Very nice!!

That plastic decking is soooo nice. One job I always disliked at my old place was having to re-stain the deck every year or two.

Thanks guys, I can't wait to get out and get it painted up.

I bought about a 16' extension ladder from the carpenter, a fiberglass one. He sold it to me half price and he is going to buy a new one. Figured that was better than me spending $250+ for it and only use it for a few times a summer. I have a nice aluminum 40' extension ladder but it is usually about 4 times more than I need.

Beautiful, beautiful home, Bob!

I'm thrilled you are so happy with the work they did on your porch.

Back to the original post....very nice looking seedlings you have there. I'm glad you decided to cut way back this year! ;) ;) ;)

Thanks for sharing, Bob! :)
